It's hard to believe that we've been in business since 1975. That's right! We started as a weekend and evening project by Gerald Kurtz and Charles May, who was looking for something to do with their time. They wanted to help people, but they also wanted something fun and exciting, so they decided to start a company that made cranes. Since then, the business has been passed down from generation to generation, and we're not going anywhere! Kraig May currently runs the company alongside his son Mark May, who has two kids of his working alongside him at YorkHoist. Here at YorkHoist, we care deeply about family values and want every employee to feel like part of a family when working here.
