Tehachapi's Home Town IT Service
Hi! I am Daniel, the owner of Golden Hills IT. I would like to take a moment to talk about who I am, what brought me here, and what I do.
I started working in the Tehachapi area in 2006 and instantly fell in love with the area. At the time I could not afford to move to Tehachapi, so I started my family in California City. My wife and I had a daughter and a son while living in California City, and decided Tehachapi would be a much better area to raise our family. So we made the decision and moved to Tehachapi in 2012.
A few years later we added another daughter to our family and decided Tehachapi would be where we live out the rest of our lives.
The community in Tehachapi is amazing, and we absolutely love it here.
I have been involved in IT in some form or another for well over a decade. From hosting servers, building PCs, troubleshooting issues, all the way to building cryptocurrency miners. I have done a bit of it all. In 2020 I decided to formalize my experience during the Covid lockdowns and Managed to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Network Operations and Security from Western Governors University.
With this degree and the Industry Certifications, I obtained along the way I decided it was time to start my business and give back to the Tehachapi Community.
Thus in early 2021 Golden Hills IT was born.
