Airsoft is a game similar to paintball, where teams face each other to complete objectives, similar to those in popular video games. You should expect to be hit with bb’s when you play, so please dress accordingly. Cover all exposed skin, and wear comfortable clothing to run around in. Long sleeve shirts and light hoodies are recommended. Please don’t wear heavy winter jackets or too many layers, as you won’t be able to feel when a bb does hit you.
If you rent an airsoft gun from us, it will be an electric rifle, or “AEG.” It has both semi-automatic and fully-automatic settings, and fires bb’s at 350 feet per second. On our field, we only use the semi-automatic setting, where one trigger pull equals one bb fired. Please refer to the diagram below to see where the Selector is located. In addition, your gun is equipped with a 300 round high capacity magazine. To keep bb’s feeding into your gun, regularly wind the wheel on the bottom of the magazine without removing it from the airsoft gun. On the field, there are some loose bbs on the ground and in large containers. Do NOT put these bbs into your magazine. These dirty and cracked used bbs will break your gun.
In the heat of gameplay, sometimes it’s easy to get carried away. Please remember that over-shooting other players is not allowed, and that keeping a positive attitude is important, even if you believe other players to be cheating. You will be sharing the field with regular airsoft players, other people new to the game, some kids over the age of 10, and adults. Please act accordingly.
